Well iv just cancelled my upgrade with Vodacom for the S5 , I was going to just leave it ,but I am rather annoyed with the whole Gear 2 and Gear Fit thing being only for new contracts .Iv tried arguing with them as No where does it specify for New contracts only and in all honesty I find their Marketing of this Special to be rather deceitful . Basically its rather a kick in the face to be told sorry its only for new contracts , we don't really value your renewal enough or return business . Personally I think its a rather bad attitude to have because they should be trying to retain business ,it makes no sense pulling in new customers if you are loosing old customers at the same time .
This is the second time in the last 3 months we have had this as we had a similar issue with Incredible connection when my wife went there to renew . So enough is enough , ill see what Telkom has to offer on the S5 and ill take my business elsewhere . To think iv been giving Vodacom my hard earned money and business for the last 14 years only to be treated like this , oh well it was clearly time for a change . Here's hoping Telkom will have a good offer available with a nice data allowance .
