It's a new contract, I'm on PAYG (although I have 2 contracts for my kids). I just called this morning after reading this thread to see if they still had and I kinda got carried away and went for it :)

I actually told them my mate got this deal and wanted the same. I looked at your confirmation email that you posted Astro and read it back to them :D

Did they send you a confirmation email Astro? I've had a bit of drama since this morning because I'm employed by a European company and they called me again because they wanted proof of employment. I sent it and they called back again to say it's cool. I asked for a confirmation of the deal and they said I'll get that when the phone comes. So no paper confirmation at all of the gear 2 or the extra gb for example, although the guy assured me it's all good???? Sound normal to you?

Email. Call them and ask to specify what is on the quote (don't tell them anything, just ask what exactly is on the quote, I have done this several times already) then ask them to email you a copy.

At last I got the brochure from Vodacom for April. They eill be offering the S5 (LTE) and Gear 2 for 779 on Smart M and the S5 (LTE) on Smrt S without Gear on SMart S for 469 and Smert M for 549. I am wondering whether they will also offer the S5+Gear 2 on Smart S and whether they will have the non LTE (or are they all LTE?).

P.S. So the guy in the call center lied as he mentioned to me that I might as well preorder through them as the shop will not offer me the S5+Gear2 as it is only for new customers. It is not, it states clearly that this offers are available for upgrades and new sales.

Let's see when the offer hits the stores on Friday...
