The Gripen on paper has the technology to mix it up with a F-35 and F-22 in a knife fight. The problem here is that will they be in the air when the first Su-30 is overhead.

So followed up on the training and impressed given the limited flying hours they have. Regarding where our Gripens are based Makhado is even closer to Angola which makes that one worse.

They still do it. They let the engins run through the night. I'm assuming it is for test running the engins.

Indeed they will. I hear from the boys that at least 5 out of twenty something remain ready to go at all times. That's a good base of 4 plus one reserve.
