How stupid, shouldn't they have waited for iPhone6 to come out?

Strange how you say Apple sues everyone for apparently no reason. So companies like Samsung never sue anyone else? It's just Apple doing the suing. Also, Samsung never copied anyone and just coincidently released a tablet and and phone similar to an iPad and iPhone. Just accept that some companies copy other companies that innovate because that's how business works. Also, thieves broke into an iStore and you rant about Apple being expensive? Dude, relax and go play with your free Whatsapp.

Apple robs customers day in and day out and no one bats an eyelid. Now someone robs Apple and suddenly the police are involved.
 
So it's the Telkom and Apple shops. Why not step up security?

Difficult balance trying to avoid a shootout and deaths.

Rather start with the law a minimum sentences for
Armed robbery 15yrs.
Murder 25yrs
Rape 25yrs
Possession of unlicensed firearm 10yrs
Etc.

No, it's all the cellphone shops. MTN, Vodacom, Cell-C, Autopage, Telkom and iStore. They have all been hit multiple times in the last few months.....

You do know that law abiding people will have their genitals molested, ala TSA, but organised criminals will just bribe/force the janitorial staff or underpaid security to get their guns snuck in through the back.

If you're going to an iStore, you already know that you're going to be violated. I don't see your average aPple buyer objecting.

On the other hand, I'm licensed, and carry a firearm for self defence. If my firearm isn't allowed entry to a shopping centre, I'm not going to that centre. Also, this would require the declaration of a "firearms free zone" by the minister, not mall management.

The solution is better policing, but we're never going to see that in Africa.

No, there's a difference.

Ignoring a no-firearms sign at a mall constitutes trespassing and you can get thrown out if they spot you.
Ignoring a FFZ declaration is a criminal offence in another sense and can get you thrown into jail.
 
When I visited my local iStore today there were a message taped to the door that said that all Apple products that get stolen will be blocked and rendered useless.Now if al three iStore robberies were carried out by the same gang why are they keeping one stealing useless products? Mabe they have a Apple insider that will reactivate their loot.

In the Citizen newspaper today there were a sizeable story about the istore robbery.there were a tiny story about a huge shootout during a cash in transit robbery at Virginia were 5 robbers were killed and 8 captured.Says something about media priorities.
