Aaah... The "Its all your fault mate!" game begins..
Trump was going to tariff us regardless. He didn't give a toss about every other country he imposed it on, but obviously SA is still the darling of the world and has special status...
Hell hath no fury like a genocided farmer. Trump became so angry that he applied tariffs on every country.Yeah, I think people are conflating issues here. Tariffs and removal from AGOA were a certainty. Even the complete scrapping of AGOA remains a probability rather than possibility in my opinion.
Technical reasonsWhy are we limiting threads to just over 10k posts?
Interesting, DA may have to support the remaining 2 bills to remain in GNU.
It's effectively to allocate departmental budgets etc.

Either way it will be spun. If they support it then it will be that they voted against the framework but now want a piece of the pie. They have no choice but to push for the reforms that they wanted, it's the only thing that will give them back any leverage...So I think the DA is largely forced to support the bills if they want to get funding for their departments for the financial year, and of course its different to the fiscal framework in so much as this is slicing that financial pie up rather than determining how that financial pie is obtained.
