SA Politics Thread Part 11: The GNU Normal

It's a pity, but not completely unsurprising as it seems in rural WC, Coloured people are falling for the "onse mense" meme...

But the same will happen as in Beaufort/Knysna; they flock to PA, they see PA dick around, they go back to DA.
You know, the DA is still waiting for things to turn around and the voters to come back the same way the ANC is with the MK.

Let's stay strong in these trying times, at least the GNU is stronger, I see the DA cut Cyril some slack after twisting his arm too much on Nkabane, they voted for all the budgets, including those they said they would not vote for like Simelani and Ntshavheni, that is so selfless of them.

Because the ANC should never be 3rd in a 100% black township VD, lol. If you can't see what that means for the ANC vote share if it is replicated elsewhere, I cannot help you.
He banna? who invented the law and when? Because the ANC has come third in many 100% black VDs before this one, you are very mistaken if you think some history was made here.

Just to imagine he is a graduate of the DA leadership program, but when I tell the DA supporters here that something is broken with their recruitment they don't want to believe me.

If that's their choice of leadership candidates I have news for them

Every by election some DA councillor takes a bribe from Gayton, I mean, if it happens once sure it's an exception but if your people keep on falling for Gayton's charms surely you should start questioning things?

If you question that you'd have to start questioning John's deal with the WMC puppet

Even at its worst I can only assume the DA music was better quality than the kark the ANC blasts out during campaigns.
I think it's all about playing the right music to the right audience, from my experience of ANC events the crowd always seems way more enthusiastic in singing along more than what I have seen from the DA.

I have a much better idea, play fsck all music and stop annoying everyone else... give your people headphones so they can enjoy their trash on their own.

Here, the ANC drives through town with their ridiculous toyota bakkies equipped with loudspeakers, shouting snot that people can't understand due to the distortion anyway.
