Because this thread that you always hang around is about politics and Liberation Movements, that you were discussing just now are politics.

Pointing out the truth is not politics. No matter which thread it is in.

Here's the problem, I discuss politics, over 90% of my time here is spent discussing politics, if you come here and engage me on politics I take time and effort to respond to you, then you come back and tell me you don't discuss politics, which means engaging with you is a waste of time and that annoys me.

So here is the deal, can you get out of my way as far as this thread, or any other political thread is concerned? As there is nothing else to discuss in politics threads besides politics, otherwise it becomes off topic.

So you stay out of my way, I stay out of yours, when we meet in any other thread that doesn't discuss politics, like motoring, sports etc, we engage as normal, how does that work for you?

Maybe you should leave politics to the professionals.

I think it's political stunt, which is already bearing fruit with people praising them for accountability and Kenny for doing the honourable thing.

It's most likely nothing is ever going to come out of this and in a few months he will be absolved, they just want to milk this for maximum benefit in terms of claiming the moral high ground.

It also give Kenny Kunene a way out as far as running away from his JRA mess and his uneventful tenure as roads MMC which was bringing some embarrassment to the PA.

Yeah, Wayne Sussman says it might affect the PA in black areas in JHB/Tshwane, but not in other provinces. There's a by-election in Soweto in a few weeks time, although it's hard to discern an effect after one by-election - there'd have to be a larger sample than one to provide conclusive evidence.

This on its own wasn't too much of a problem, but giving the Bree Street tender to Nigerians and Zimbabweans while shouting Abahambe exposed the PA, they no longer have the credibility the had.

They should hope for their sake that nothing is uncovered on that front after his resignation.

I`m still waiting for the SAA spin baba!

Checking in for another fun filled, action packed round of ANC gaslighting and self vindicating propaganda. Where do I even begin.

"The National Trough (A Pig’s Lament)"

Oink, oink — the engines cough,
Another feast at the national trough.
SAA, once built to fly,
Now just a buffet in the sky.

Wings? Optional. Ethics? Dead.
But oh, the gravy’s piping red.
First-class fraud on taxpayer coin—
The comrades snort, the cadres join.

“Turnaround plan!” they squeal and shout,
While stuffing billions in and out.
Audits vanish, papers shred,
The airline bleeds — the pigs get fed.

One bailout, two, then five, then more,
Each one bigger than before.
No planes fly, no profits land—
But look! Another dirty hand.

Contracts inked in backroom lairs,
Consultants billing phantom wares.
"Transformation" — cue the choir!
While cronies set the planes on fire.

The ANC, in Gucci suits,
Still sings the struggle in gold boots.
From freedom fighters to hungry swine—
The slogan now: “What’s yours is mine.”

SAA's a corpse on rusted wheels,
But every zombie tender feels
Like heaven to a snout in mud—
Long live the feast, ignore the blood.

Oh, Motherland, betrayed for scraps,
Sold out in boardroom power naps.
The flag still waves — more out of spite,
Above a trough, not built for flight.

And when it's gone, they’ll write the tale:
"Mismanaged skies, but comrades pale
At taking blame — they tried their best!"
Then fly off, fat, to Zurich West.

It also give Kenny Kunene a way out as far as running away from his JRA mess and his uneventful tenure as transport MMC which was bringing some embarrassment to the PA.
But I thought he was implementing a better life for all alongside ASA and ANC in JHB?

Yeah, You also thought the DA was doing a great job in Tshwane, all the way from Oudshoorn.
I knew they were doing well here when they were still in gov. The same in Mossel Bay. And George. And CPT.

So not hard to expect it elsewhere.

Btw saw a newsreel recently of your favourite area of all, Hammanskraal, once again not receiving water. I thought Mayor Moya waved a wand on bloody racist saboteur DA to fix it. Wha happun?
