SA Politics Thread Part 11: The GNU Normal

You always get it, you are the first person to get it when I suggested the ANC and DA should form an alliance and the worshippers led by Mustafa and @Priapus descended on me like rabid dogs.

I hate to be otherwise but the DA cultists were practically begging for a GNU. I was one of the few who thought it would end in disaster. I'm not sure if @Sideshow Bob bookmarked my posts for future "hindsight" posts when the house built on sand comes tumbling down.

Yes, I know you thought it was absurd, but you never thought it was political suicide for the DA, that's why I posed my question to the two people who thought it was political suicide to tell me if they still think it is.

Do you perhaps understand why everyone is getting angry at me?

Yes, I am sure you don't recall what you said yesterday.

So you’re admitting you got it wrong and now can’t back up the two lies you’ve told this morning?

My recollection is just fine. It’s yours that seems to be an issue here — delusional lies about what I said or did that never happened.

But they are cultists mos. They will think whatever the party tells them to think.

The tempers seem to be something about you saying someone called you a dog which I didn't see in all honesty. Not sure what that's about

I have no issue with anything the two people I posed the question to say, but why would someone like @ToxicBunny catch feelings all the way from Natal, unprovoked? an injury to one is an injury to all?

Catch feelings? I think you misunderstand the situation Champy.... I'm merely trying to help you through your stages of grief. I'm good like that.

So much copium from you today.

Should she have stuck to her guns, yeah probably.

But given that the ANC has a tendency of engaging with the services of nasty people from the underworld, her safety and that of her family may be more important than the job.
Some say Cyril gave the DA an ultimatum, hence she mentioned the fragile GNU relations, the DA had no choice but to tell her to vat her goed and trek.

Ill discipline will never be tolerated in the GNU.

Some may say that yes, and it also would have been par for the course with the ANC, they can't handle the truth when it impacts their back pockets.

I like how you had to dig up posts from three years ago.

The ability to do that and simultaneously provide machine-gun responses, as well as find and post numerous posts from X promoting specific views, indicates that there may be a team at work. An analysis of the frequency of the posts might prove useful.

By good I mean it's not political suicide to go into a coalition with The Greatest Liberation Movement of all time, ayinabungozi lento.

There was no liberation in South Africa. Therefore, the liberation movement failed and cannot be the greatest liberation movement of all time.
