That's the entire problem about BEE, it sounds beautiful and oh so virtuous, but in reality, only the ANC elite benefit from this, not Sipho from Hammanskraal or Lebo from Langa.

But the problem is, okes like you see it as a zero-sum game. When someone raises valid criticisms of BEE and that it should be removed, even if they support "redress" as a principle, you condemn them as racist, ignoring history, yadda yadda.

You can oppose BEE while still supporting the principle of "redress" or alleviating inequalities.

The ANC will never get rid of it willingly, because it will close the taps, and there will be no smokescreen to use either when it comes to looting public funds.

You do realise Cape Town is part of South Africa, right? It’s not some fortified war zone - it’s in a well-run province (unlike the ANC-controlled disasters elsewhere) where anyone can walk in and buy property. No infiltration required. Drop the dramatics.

Yes, it is part of SA, that is why it us such a joke when the DA lot make it look like something special when people buy property there.

Maybe you should have a chat with Hill Lewis and Mustafa?

We are also very happy to take the DA money here in GP, it's a win win situation to be honest, next we should encourage more politicians to by houses in that troublesome neighboring country of KZN.
