Stupid question. You don't need to be an analyst to realist this would have been buried deeper than a MFer if he brought it up internally. Mkhwanazi should probably have said why he chose to go so public. Not sure he did haven't seen it all i read.
It is deliberate, they are reinforcing a narrative that speaking publicly is more bad than what he is alleging.

Two of his ministers (Mchunu too in future, probably) are now under investigation.
There is honestly nothing tough for him, he will actually appreciate the Hawks speedy reaction. The only thing tough for him is having to fire people without solid evidence because that has the potential of setting a precedence that could be abused.

To this day Zweli Mkhize has still not been charged, Zizi had his charges thrown out, thankfully both resigned and we're not fired.

Nkabane lied he can fire her for that. And Mchunu can be reshuffled no reason needed.

I haven't followed her case, I thought the reason the Hawks are investigating is to ascertain facts?

If it's clearly cut out why isn't there at least a parliament ethics finding on her?
