I know you went through some horrors. I will be first customer to buy your book.

Did you decide name of the book yet ? "A South African English Slave during apartheid" perhaps on the lines of "an American Slave " ?

"Trials and tribulations of a Rooinek under the boot of the Rockspider" seems more appropriate.

Sounds horrifying but apt. I can't wait to hear horrors that Engels community went through during apartheid. I will buy 4 extra copies and give one each to @TheChamp , @MalcomZ , @ForceFate and @ShaunSA. Deal.

Was there an equivalent of Schindler who saved some of you ? Perhaps there is possibility of "Botha's list" movie ?

Never I expressely forbid the TV Famous Political Analyst from ever reading the book, it will be in the opening pages as a contract and he will be subject to a fine of R67trillion rand should he ever read it.

Yes there was. His name was Mandela. I can fully understand why you've probably never heard of him, wasn't particularly well know.

No, the ANC was not prepared, not Parliament.

“If people in parliament say it was not a learning phase, they [are] making a fundamental mistake. It was a learning phase for [the] Treasury and [the] government and a learning phase for MPs,” Godongwana said.

He explained that in the past the budget was easily passed because the ruling party held a clear majority in parliament.

Without a majority, “there should be interaction with everybody in parliament”, he said.

“But, to be honest, even the MPs were not ready for the task.

“The law says, once the minister tables the budget … then the MPs must be able to examine that budget and question it and amend it, but not to reject it.”

Sometimes they would dub anglo shows in Afrikaans. You had to tune in on your radio to get the original English of the show, defeated and humiliated.

Don't be fooled for one minute South Africa. You are being played.

The propaganda technique you're describing is often referred to as "firehose of falsehood" or "Gospels of gibberish." It's a strategy where a person or organization spreads a large amount of information, some of which may be true, some false, and some utterly absurd. The goal is to create a sense of confusion, uncertainty, and mistrust among the audience.

This technique is characterized by:

1. High volume: A large amount of information is disseminated, making it difficult to fact-check or keep up with.
2. Mix of truth and falsehood: Some statements may be true or based on facts, while others are false or absurd.
3. Repetition: The information is repeated multiple times, often through different channels.
4. Lack of credibility: The source of the information may not be trustworthy or credible.

The purpose of this technique is to:

1. Confuse and disorient: By presenting a mix of true and false information, it's challenging for people to determine what's true and what's not.
2. Erode trust: By spreading false information, trust in institutions, media, and sources of information is undermined.
3. Create uncertainty: People may become uncertain about what's true, leading to a sense of powerlessness or apathy.

This technique is not unique to any particular country, but it's been associated with certain governments and organizations that use disinformation as a tool to shape public opinion and manipulate narratives.

Russia's information warfare tactics, particularly those employed by RT and Sputnik, have been known to use similar strategies, often referred to as "active measures." These tactics involve spreading disinformation, propaganda, and conspiracy theories to influence public opinion and undermine trust in institutions.

Other countries and organizations have also been known to use similar tactics, and it's essential to be aware of these strategies to critically evaluate information and make informed decisions.
