Let us raise a backabuddy for her in the event she becomes COJ mayor. We can't have city of gold mayor seen in some crappy car

Who is with me ?
The new Corolla is quite nice. The GR is a little too firm for her so the standard one is fine. Or maybe Ford Puma.

South Africa is too large and full of "ambitious" politicians to form a working federation. We already have regional groupings such as SADC and ECOWAS. Why not try to make those work first?

Not about being too large. That place is far too diverse - no single group can cater to everyone’s needs and wants. I don’t see any political party enjoying a majority at national level again. Those days are gone.

It is as clear as daylight that the DA's Moonshot never got anywhere close to the 45% the highly accurate polls said they were going to get in Gauteng.

It also clear there is no 7% difference between the ANC and the DA as the polls claimed, the DA is also not the biggest party in urban areas as the polls claimed it will be.

You people should feel free to jump around in delusional joy at the polls but I don't know why you get offended when facts are put to you.
What are you trying to argue here?
- The ANC isn't actually collapsing at the polls?
- The ANC is collapsing at the polls, but the DA is not gaining anything from it?
- Polls are always wrong and we have no idea what is happening, so just stop worrying about it and wait for the elections?

Nice cars are also enjoyable if you have a life to live, at this point it looks like she is coming up with every excuse in the book not to spend time with her long suffering husband, so a nice car would be a waste because it will gather dust in the garage instead of having nice scenic drives with Mr Maree.
You get to a point in life where flashy cars are just that flashy and eventually they just become a tool to get from a to b

Bru, You are not supposed to know about this point in life. Remember, BEE & 145 racist laws don't allow you to earn a living ? Stick with that. Some of us have been here long enough to spot liars.

Remember that Cyril is trying hard to prevent his "record of decision" in implementing the NHI from being in the public eye. If was all above board, why he is going to the apex court to prevent this? Hopefully I never see the NHI in my lifetime!

The Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF) has launched a fresh legal bid to overturn the National Health Insurance (NHI) Act, asking the Constitutional Court to declare the legislation unlawful and invalid on the grounds that parliament failed to conduct a proper public consultation process.

The BHF, one of SA’s two key medical scheme industry associations, has already challenged the NHI Act in the high court in Pretoria. In that matter, it challenged Ramaphosa’s decision to assent to the act.

Now it has turned its sights on parliament, contending that MPs failed to meet their constitutional obligation to ensure meaningful public participation, because they made no material changes to the legislation despite extensive input from a wide range of stakeholders, including the BHF.

Critical issues raised during the public participation process, including details about the healthcare benefits NHI would cover, what the scheme would cost, and how it would be financed, were not resolved. Nor did parliament seek to clarify the future role of medical schemes and provincial health departments, the BHF says in its Constitutional Court application, filed earlier in August. The adoption of the bill was therefore irrational, it says.

I am telling you your DA polls are a load of rubbish and have provided proof, feel free to believe the rubbish if it makes you feel better.

Being offended when I am just stating facts is childish.

Cyril is not going to the apex court, he was sitting there minding his business when he was taken to the apex court.
Well if he didnt go to the apex court to defend himself we would have the information

I realise as I get older, it's no longer about flashy (No, I never owned a flashy model). Even with that in mind, I'd still get something a lot better than an old Yaris if my children were older and independent and my salary allowed it. The new Corolla for example. Or the i20. Even Mahindra has a decent crossover for under R450k.

I am surprised you did not frame it as blacks doing something as you usually do.
It wasnt theft
So you dont like it when I am specific about who is steal from who in those very specific cases.
You are here to show when whites do anything wrong

These days I just want something comfortable , safe and able to get me a to b with no problems
Used to be a time when I swopped cars every 3 years for tax reasons ( os so I told myself ). Now I dont give a ****
