SA Politics Thread Part 11: The GNU Normal

Every nation with overcrowding from illegal foreigners is dealing with it due to it's own doing? The USA, Europe and South Africa? Really? There are no external factors driving this?

Come on. I know you hate the ANC, but be rational. Not everything is solely their fault as you'd like to think.
I am talking specifically about our country. The USA and Europe have their governments to blame, same as us.
The ANC had the ability and resources to prevent this. Now jump on X and ask them to explain to you why they chose not to.

Why do you keep posting your response to tweets as if it's some kind of important commentary that determines the national discourse...
I post it wherever Nelson Mandela University is mentioned. Now go cry harder to MC Botha Inc, the white scummy law firm that lies under oath while registars manipulate the judiciary for them. 🤣

And like I said, there is a thread for that discussion. Go post your questions there, we are talking politics here and we will not deflect because of your pathetic 20% party.

Oh no, you showed me, how will I ever cope...

Whenever my matter with the Nelson Mandela University is dragged back up in here while it has it's own separate thread, just know the DA took heavy blows in the political arena recently and I mocked them for the jokes they are. 🤣

Not all doom and gloom as some would have you believe in South Africa. A new gold mine with an investment of R1,5 billion to be opened in Johannesburg.

First time in 15 years a new gold mine is opened in SA. 🙂

Indeed you do.

Joburg clears officials after making U-turn on investigating R1bn tenders
In response to MPs’ questions, the city’s Group Forensics and Investigation Services head, Sinaye Nxumalo, admitted the city had launched an investigation, which found at least one case where a company awarded a contract had a director whose spouse is an MP.

Nxumalo, however, maintained there was no wrongdoing in that tender or any of the others awarded to family members and friends of councillors or city employees in 2023/24.
At the time, city spokesperson Nthatisi Modingoane defended the contracts, saying the metro government saw no irregularities and would not investigate.

Even the ANC is afraid of walking around in JHB
MPs painted a bleak picture of Johannesburg, once hailed as South Africa’s flagship metropolis.

“You can’t even walk with a cellphone in town,” remarked one MP, highlighting the growing sense of lawlessness and danger in South Africa’s economic capital.

“This is not Johannesburg any more. I do not know what it is,” said another MP.

The pearlers just keep coming!
The city’s delegation, which included several MMCs and top executives (however, Mayor Dada Morero wasn’t present), was repeatedly called out for failing to respond adequately to questions and for passing the blame on to the previous administration.

Even Andrek is afraid of his own city :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
Before the appearance of the city’s delegation, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi also faced tough questions and ultimately agreed with the MPs on the state of the city, saying Johannesburg urgently needed a complete overhaul.

Thanks Andrek. You're a DA-vote gaining machine. Keep up the fantastic work buddy! 🫶

Why are you people so desperate for me to pay attention to your posts?

Solly Msimanga should get himself some self respect while stocks last.
He should stay there in the DA. His bloody nose is a representation of the DA overall at the polls and in government.

It's bloody. 🤣

The GNU just can't stop shooting itself in the foot.

Students about to listed with bad credit before their careers even start.
You are not required to pay NSFAS until you are working, so you can't really get bad credit as long as you are not working, unless they do away with that.

As for those who are working, there is really no excuse not to pay.

Ramaphosa went to Zimbabwe praising Zim's land reform recently and as expected, the right lost it's mind asking how could he.

South Africa is still talking and it seems those hoarding the land they got via apartheid aren't willing to listen.

I'd negotiate if I were them. There is no way the status quo in SA remains the same. People are too angry as we saw yesterday in Rosslyn.

You reckon you're the only one that can play in the mud?
I don't recall having called @Mike Hoxbig anything on such a personal basis. Have I called you of scuking cock or something like that ? If I did, please show it to me and I will apologize.

You are welcome to play in the mud though - if it fits in your culture.
