You are spot on about the kind of leaders they need, the question is, do they want those leaders? What does recycling an old and tired Zille for Joburg mayor say in relation to that?

From triple to double to equal to half. The trend is becoming clear. The only reason it's even that much is because of Ramaphosa.

Which is why it's hilarious Fix Fokol and Shipokosa fighting over who's going to rule over the ashes...

I suppose recycling one person is better than recycling the same tried and tested failures in cabinet...

You have a point. I seriously thought Brink would be a decent leader capable of rising through ranks but he seems to be relegated to typing jealous tweets about Dr Moya so I am a bit disappointed.

It doesn't look like they are giving any importance to Pappas to bring him to national level either.

Who else is there? None from CT would connect to rest of the country. Interestingly, John does seem to be likeable in general.
 
One thing I can predict now that the runup to elections has started
1. Lot of long drop kissing
2. More tar repairs on sandy roads
3. Executives learning how to use a spade
4. In 2 years time lots of articles on misspent money

Oh and yeah lots of money being spent on the PR Bots

Ashor Sarupen is apparently Zille's pick to take over as party chair. He might not be a bad choice...

I agree; they may get MZ's 25% but in the SA we have today that may be it. The crucial question is where will the votes go? I don't see the ANC improving; more and more people seem openly disillusioned with them (@Chaumpy aside) and their thieving, bungling and corruption is ever more obvious, blatant and arrogant.

So is it MK, EFF or just stay at home?
