Don't disagree on that, but there is a difference between the ANC dying and the ANC collapsing.
The broad church is faltering in the extreme atm and the competing ideologies within that space are fighting with each other. The ANC as it is currently is changing, and very likely to start splintering in the future as well.
The frustrating thing though is that when the ANC does splinter, it tends to just shed more extreme versions of itself (see the EFF and MK), when South Africa needs to move a little more in the opposite direction if it wants a future.
If the ANC would shed a 10/15% Mbeki-esque party (what COPE supposedly promised), that would be a game changer.
