Did she get permission from the president to approve his travel to Iran on a diplomatic mission? Why is an army general, of a bankrupt army, travelling the world on money the army doesn't have anyway. He also went to Cuba and France recently...

The General also made political allegiance announcements to a foreign military power, something no member of the SANDF is allowed to do. The SANDF is supposed to be apolitical. Even discussion of politics by SANDF members is forbidden.
 
Then why this response if there were no insinuations?

Because if you definitely know they are not the same person, you would have to know both personally. You lead to that, not me. Logic 101.

What exactly did she circumvent though? that's the party I am not getting, doesn't she have powers as a Minister to approve the trip?
