South Africa’s economy expanded at the fastest pace in two years in the second quarter, lifted by a strong rebound in manufacturing and mining.

Gross domestic product grew 0.8% in the three months through June, compared with growth of 0.1% in the prior quarter, Statistics South Africa said in a report released in the capital, Pretoria, on Tuesday. That beat the 0.6% median estimate of 13 economists in a Bloomberg survey.

A 0.8% per quarter growth would put us in line with the 3% yearly target, pity the two quarters before were so woeful.

LOL You have a vastly exagerated belief of inherited wealth
Majority of white south africans do not have wealthy parents with tons of savings
Also when you have 10 siblings generational wealth means nothing when whatever is there gets divided by 10

I am still puzzled by what handouts were given to whites

It is easy to cherry pick a few very rich whites. Same as it is easy to cherry pick some extremely wealthy blacks.
The average is something else again . The average white south african is not rich. A majority cannot afford to retire

I thought that would be obvious, it's exactly the same as the handouts being give to black people since 1994.

I guess he is clueless about inheritance tax :)
Whites have been been paying parts of their inheritance tax to gov for many many years

I gues there is also the inconvenient fact that unless you are very unlucky you will only get some inheritance when you are 55+ if your parents had any money left

I never got a handout or inheritance , every cent I have I worked bloody hard for
