JHB's governance does not work because Gogo is running for mayor. Not because it has been collapsed by the ANC and EFF, along with a captured JHB civil service.
If the DA put up anyone else, they'd find even the most minute retarded reason to disqualify them.

I was in Howick this year and was not impressed by the "good work".
The new housing estates and mall outside of town look great, but the main business area was poor to me and roads in and outside of the suburbs were shockingly poor to me.
Maybe he made some improvements since 2021, but the town was still in a very poor state to me.

I'll have to take your word for that. I only travelled through the area before 2021, and didn't stay in the town itself.
Hopefully they can get around to tarring the roads in the suburbs and painting some lines on the main roads eventually.
