Principles, like wet clay, are pliable. We've seen this here on a number of occasions. Taking principled stance has many definitions in politics.

This is yet another South African ad bragging how South African government is doing so much for HIV in SA. They even have a breakthrough drug called "Lena Capavir" sic (Lenacapavir) which prevents HIV acquisition. However Lenacapavir is a US developed drug, it was developed and will be sold at discount to SA by Gilead Sciences of Foster City, California, U.S.

In addition Gilead Sciences receives assistance from the US federal and state governments.

So all in all SA government takes U.S. achievements for itself, uses our tax payer money to spread this sort of narrative on Youtube and at the same time sides with BRICS and opposes US interests.

Not a fan of the DA and its people but I like it when we are all united against right wingers, we should all double our efforts in showing them that they are a tiny, dying minority with no future.

It's the greatest form of patriotism to put our political differences aside and stand firmly behind our country.
