I dunno. The other week I got a SAL parcel from Japan which arrived in about 2-3 weeks. This time the EMS is faster again, the international leg used to take a week this year. Now 2 days.... now in the past the parcel would already have been in my hands but this is the new slower SAPO.

That just looks like SAPO's tracking service. I'd recognise that 1993-HTML1.0 look running on a 386DX anywhere.

I ordered stuff from HK in the first week of March and it arrived at JIMC on Wednesday last week - now for the BIG wait...

Guys who does USPS use locally to deliver packages....? I ordered something from Ebay and according to them my item has been delivered but I definitely do not have it so now I need to find out who the idiots gave it to.

Not sure if it's still the case, but they used to use SAPO locally. Their tracking stopped at the Customs for my parcel IIRC. I'm still waiting on a package sent a couple years ago

I wrote it off as a lesson to use UPS and not USPS.

Has anyone else noticed that USPS Priority Express (EMS) is no longer being offered to SA? I have seen multiple retailers remove this option. It seemed to be the only postal service option that delivered on time. Now im forced to use 'priority' and I have packages sitting at JIMC for 3 weeks now. Epic sigh. I hate paying 3-4 times the price when using Fedex or UPS, but they are reliable and solid.

Is there such a thing as Priority Express? Is that like a combination of the two?
AFAIK, it's either USPS Priority Mail International, or USPS Express Mail International.
