LOL, just got broken glass screen protectors I ordered Aug 24, 2016 for a phone I sold in February. Go team post office!
 
Is there anyway to rock up at the JHB hub and request your parcel? Mines been in SA for close to 3 weeks now and I dont want this to get 'returned to sender'! I'm emailing every email address for SAPO/EMS but everyone that responds is from SAPO and they cant help me further than to tell me whats available on the T&T system online and that I must contact EMS.
EMS numbers dont get answered.
Neither do their email addresses (been emailing every day for the last 2 weeks).
I get read receipts from Rhulani, but no responses.

I'm jealous. I'm still waiting for my package that arrived in South Africa on 23rd July. I've been in contact with the post office, but they say that there is a huge backlog at Johannesburg International Mail Centre. :cry:

They always have a backlog and will always have it.

I think there like 2 people sorting packages in JHB lol

This one is at my post office now. Slowest so far was 5 months from Netherlands.
 
Having to use SAPO lately for some dropshipping orders, its just unfathomable that it takes items longer to clear JIMC than it does for the item to get here in a SHIP!!!!!

Are they having protest actions or is this just how bad another state run business entity is?
 
My friend waited 90 days for clothes,my package took 50 days which was screwdrivers an plastic wraps
 
I ordered something from a US site (shipped from China) in July! Last tracking shows August 25th. Still waiting...

Thought I'd post some feedback. My parcel sat in JIMC customs for a month and 2 weeks and then suddenly there was activity. Now I'm not sure if it was because I found someone to email and they did something on their side to get this moving. That person was extremely helpful.

It then went to the Cape Town depot where it sat for another 2 weeks at customs. And I finally got my parcel and had to pay a customs tax.
 
I just wish they'd allow people to go to customs and go clear directly from there. Surely it would ease the load on them if people were to do that?
 
Is there a way to tell if SAPO workers are striking or "working"? Seems to be no difference in output either way.

I received a small package yesterday that was dispatched from the USA in May 2017.
