SA Post Office Strike

Our company does bulk mailing so we have direct contact with the depots. They emailed us the update.

May I ask, will your company just keep using the post office despite their monumental screw-ups and disregard for your company's business?
 
Unfortunately there's no other option. Courier is not an option for bulk mail.
 
Update: apparently JIMC is now up and running, but Tshwane is still striking. JIMC is where international packages go first, so at least these packages are being processed again.

Remember there's a huge backlog of international packages at JIMC, which will probably take days or weeks to work through.

Yep I have been imagining my fragile carbon fiber item lying under a huge pile of anvils for a few weeks. :cry:
 
Capemail is working again, but with very few staff. I heard that most of their staff will be back on Monday.

How do you know this if I may ask? Have a package stuck there since last month 13th.

I have spies :p

We do daily bulk mail deliveries at the major depots in SA, so they have to keep us up to date on what's happening and if we can deliver or not.
