SA price, launch date for Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Would wait for the cash price to go down a bit, and certainly wouldnt get it from these local moron mobile service providers. In the meantime my current device is still kicking b u tt

Wonder if Samsung will offer free screen replacements on the Note 4 as they do with the S5?

Vodacom can suck on my salty nads...

I only upgrade in July 2015... price should drop by then, if not, im porting to telkom mobile, they'll probably have a contract with unlimited data by then.

I think they already have unlimited data on galaxy devices(s4,s5,note 3) as of this month,it comes with a fair usage policy of 10gb after which they throttle you, they also come with 1gb of data that can be used on MTN towers.

Telkom mobile gets the need for data, and Cell C to an extent but Telkom mobile calls are pricier than Cell C.I guess if the status quo remains then once whatsapp has voice calling Telkom mobile will be the one to go for.

Edit:The Telkom mobile unlimited data on the Galaxy devices is only valid until March 2015,so not for the full length of the contract unfortunately.

The Note 2 surely is beginning to show its age. Laggy operations etc etc.

You're wrong, Note 2 is on 4.3 as we speak, and I think it might get 4.4 so that's not an issue.

Because faark you, that's how we roll.
We'd rather give you more sms to make the numbers look bigger.
Yours, VC & MTN.

Those idiots are so far behind it's silly! A Note 4 will most probably go through that data in less than 30 minutes right out of the box!!!

Which is the minimum you need if you don't have wifi at home and work.I'm lucky I do so hence my 500mb ends up carrying over but most people don't have wifi at home and work.

Not even. If I didn't have wifi at home I'd need at least 5GBs. 1GB should be minimum on low end packages and the upper ones at least 2GBs.

Time to get the Note 3. Hopefully Vodacom will have them on special.

Edit: Can't seem to find Note 3 on the Vodacom website

No thanks. I'm on MTN and could upgrade in July already but my Note II still looks after me so there's no point. And my monthly is lekker cheap these days.

I'm with CellC but I'm in the same boat.
The contract on my Note 2 is due for an upgrade but I'd rather keep my Note 2 and pocket the R400 per month.

My Note 2 has been on an official Kitkat 4.4.2 release for a while now.
I did an OTA upgrade on CellC.
