SA service delivery exceptional - Zuma

I'm sure out of his view point service delivery is top notch...
Government providing Grade 5 pupil millions to do f'all.
Government paying millions for homes,cars,holidays,wives.

Yes he is getting exceptional service delivery...

LOL! Clearly JZ has a different definition of the word.

If he's so sure about that, they should take him to those guys burning tyres on the N1 this morning so he can explain it to them.. I'm sure they'll be thrilled.

wonder how he will spin us coming in 141 out of 144 for education according to WEF.Must be apartheid fault

Government was shy to boast about its successes and this then created a space for those criticising government to sound like they were telling the truth.

Yet you're not shy enough to keep your fingers out of the till.

Actually its partly true. Since 94 there has been great strides in terms of getting water and electricity out to most people. I saw stats years ago that where actually very good. The issue is that because of infrastructure neglect it all won't matter much soon. Water infrastructure is aging and starting to collapse as is sewrage treatment all over the show. The two are interlinked as when sanitation plants break down the sewrage is just pumped into the local rivers. Bad stuff.

Another related set is our ports/rail/road infrastructure. Our rail network is in very poor condition and is very badly managed. My dad worked on a coal mine in Mpumalanga and they would get perhaps half the transport carriages they requested. Hence they started to have to use the much more expensive form of road transport which accelerated the destruction of the road network. Our ports are also struggling with many of the skilled workers retiring and incompetent people coming in.

Add to that the debacle that is public healthcare, ongoing service delivery strikes, growing unemployment, etc and I am sorry but I can't agree with mr Zuma. The country is in a slow and steady decline towards a failed state scenario. It can still be reversed but it would require honest and competent men in government. There are few within the ANC that meet both those criteria tbh.

So what you are saying is that Zuma actually is deluded?

Zuma needs to convince the masses that this is tha case, not the media.

Perhaps he can start with Andries Tatane, shot by police during SD protest.
Or the dude that blew his brains out after not being able to get an ID for 10 years or something, just to mention 2

Conference delegates welcomed Zuma in song with a smattering of people holding up two fingers - a sign favouring Zuma to serve a second term as African National Congress president.

I think he completely misinterpreted that 2-finger symbol.
