Is this a South African Server to WOW and if it is will u get better latency?

It's an emulation server and has a total of 8 people that have played on it before.... rather don't try.

Its called SARealm. I tried it out when I installed BC while waiting for my key, thought I'd give a Bloodelf a roll.

Yes it is quiet, but the pings are low if ur suffering from any Telkom issues.

It works very well, but v small population. Not gonna find too many partners for any dungeons I'm afraid.

I saw before it got restarted the website said something around 330 players +- online. Thats getting somewhere. Interesting they also now have char transfer between accounts and faction transfer.

Latency to it seems very low in dos prompt, however I haven;t played on it yet. Really don't feel like leveling another char.

yeah some people on it but here it having some problems keeping it online sometimes. but you looking at 30ms or less on sarealm when its stable

and about +- -30000ms once BLIZZARD finds out about it

I am playing currently on the official servers, but I really am considering this since I have friends playing on that server and sounds like they nowadays sometimes have up to 500 players on there. That is quite a bit and somehow they managed to get horde/alliance population close to 50/50. Latency is probably what will drive this choice too. By the sounds of it, a lot have been fixed since the start of this server in 2007.

Thought about this again and find it hard to see why one will go waste time on a server like this. Its not 2% of the real wow experience. Think atm my opinion is if I can't/don't want 2 do the real thing I'll rather just stop playing wow.
