SABC "news" - how bad can it be?

First off - the picture. Happy mine workers - wtf? These people have not just been given housing allowances and a 20% pay increase - they are on the verge of being laid off. Why the hell are they smiling, SABC? Why not put a picture there of a family that had no food last night?

Now, the body:

I thought they were having a meeting to discuss migratory patterns of swallows. Who would have thought *that*?

And then, they go on to NOT tell you how the meeting went. Why?
I can only assume it went badly, as reported in the Sunday Times.

Yeah, SABC news is pretty disgusting. I cant even say its good propaganda, because its so badly done, it looks like they got a bunch of 4 year olds to to spin their stories. Ff you want a more balanced view tune in to Zim TV... at least they appear to have adults working there.

It may not be all bad, perhaps we will be allowed to execute some ministers and Eskom execs, as would happen in China :D

SABC's a joke, they can't even pull it off well, if you're going to try and lie to people at least make it believable.

sabc news is not terrible,i dont like it cus its state controlled etc,i stick to etv news although they too can be a bit bias at the best of times

It is terrible - just look at the examples posted.
How can you claim otherwise?
 
i claim otherwise because there is always a flipside to the coin..im not saying sabc news is good in anyway but its easy to find negtives in things

if they are so terrible then all the articles should be linked to show how terrible all of them are

Problem with that story that you linked to is thats its not an SABC story.
