No I never did any work for them but I still want to charge them.

Who said you have to work Bru, you get the contract signed, then you go sit on the beach in the Seychelles, with a long cold one, in you paw, and they just pay, and pay and pay and ...

How it works these days, in Mzansi.

It's pretty simple to have real-time streaming if their channels using AWS.

You're missing the point. I want to bill them for a service I didn't supply because they think it's fine to bill you for a service they didn't supply.

What, the content that Multi-Choice "pirated" from them with a dodgy deal, they where stupid enough to accept.

Besides, where they going to get money to pay for AWS ...

It's sort of like accusing all men of Rape just because they have the parts to commit it....and then charging them legal fees to make it go away...

Telkom started working on a VOD service in 2008 and it fell on it's face a year later. And they are a lot more stable and profitable than the SABC. eish, not even sure if a "good luck" is in order

You know they won't fail. It is not a option for the All So Great Liberators. They will go to bed nice and fed, snug and proud of being "successful businessmen" while the middle class will break their own backs for the tax keeping whatever shyte service the SABC have up and running.

The Great Liberators runs this country so well.

Online mirror streams of the SABC 1,2,3 and maybe SABC News is probably all they realistically manage. I think all their programming that people actually watch is already licensed to another streaming service. So they have literally no content available for a VOD service

Have not watched anything they broadcast in over 30 years, if I want to listen to news the BBC World service is my choice.

It's a phishing trick to get peoples banking details. Then they will bill TV license to eternity.

Not sure if mentioned yet, but this is very obviously simply another vehicle for corruption
