SABC to launch its own streaming services

Mmmm So Telkom is launching TelkomOne (or is it their third attempt) video service... It takes no conspiracy theorist to guess who the "sensitive" platform partner is... Now SABC is broke... guess Telkom is getting rights to SABC content or could it be a whole channel and maybe even access to their archives... ICASA should be the spectrum sponsor.. And what competition commission will ever investigate this monstrosity.
 
A number of reports state that the launch of this streaming service is slated for 2051, with the service reportedly set to function similarly to the SABC News app.

There's no need to launch anytime soon with the levels of internet penetration being where they are in this country, but it would be good to have a plan.
 
......only reason because the world is shifting from broadcasting to streaming and it's probably the only way they can force their tv license crap on you in the future....

"If you can stream SABC, then you need a tv license" - whether you watch it or not.
 
So are they forcing them to collect money for them or are they "competing" with them?

They want both, why not, double the money, Netflix collects for them, they collet, from you when you watch their service, Amazon TV collects, you end up paying for 3, 4 or more times for your "TV" license ... , and they laugh all the way to the bank.

I'm just wondering if its Tik and or Heroine that SABC execs are using.
