SABNZBD, Sickbeard & Couchpotato Guide.

Got this error in SABNZBD and its stopping my post processing (with SABtoSickBeard script) : Unable to open URL: <urlopen error [Errno 1] _ssl.c:504: error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol>

Anyone have an idea whats going on ? Post processing was working fine before this...

I just reinstalled SB and SAB.

for some reason Sickbeeard sends new downloads to SABNZBD but once the download is complete it does not get processed by sickbeard. I have to manually post process.

Any ideas?

Did you set the script in sabnzbd to use sickbeard?

Isn't 9090 the default port for SAB? Or are you just using that port for Sickbeard?

How does one get the password.txt file thing to work? (I made a plain ANSI .txt file and it simply does not work).

Where are you storing the file? I found that mine only worked from root C

I have no idea what a password.txt file is

I'm assuming you put a password in it.

Not sure if I'm being a noob but i'm not getting any search returns from Sickbeard.

The log returns the following (used Mad Men as an example):

2014-07-30 17:42:38 CP Server Thread-5 :: Unable to get URL: http://thetvdb.com/api/GetSeries.php?seriesname=mad+men&language=en

But when I search manually on the site, it comes up fine. Does this issue sound familiar to anyone? I googled it and a couple of people recommended deactivating IPv6. Made no difference for me though..

I use windows and I just used Notepad to create a .txt doc, entered the passwords in there and saved to a 'password' directory under my 'downloads' folder. Not sure if I'm making sense, at work now and typing from memory
