Vaping products to get South African National Standard

The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) has announced that it recently established a National Technical Committee to develop South African National Standards to guide the use of vaping products.

“Vaping and vaping products are increasingly popular in South Africa both in terms of recreational use and in economic activity,” said SABS lead Jodi Scholtz.

Holy $4!7, talk about a money grab. surely cigarettes aren't taxed that much?

When I still vaped I made my own juice, I'm sure it'll still work out cheaper that way.

Still totally worth it tho, even at double those rates, I swopped to vaping to get off cigs & then lowered nicotine to break the dependency, vaped for 1 year 1 month and haven't touched a cig for 5+ years now.

Don't worry about your misappropriating money-grabbing government, just do it..

Isn't it totally ironic that if it contains a DRUG, then it is taxed.

Alcohol, Cigarettes and now Vape Juice.

The only reason we do drugs is because our country is a mess.

"Godongwana announced the government had tabled a tax of at least R2.90 per millilitre of vaping liquid"

Jou ma se p**s man.
Jirr, no shame.
