SAIX Outage

Still having the erratic connectivity. Most sites work... Some fly... Others are pathetically slow... Others don't work at all.

Please post your experiences... Only way i stay sane and don't format my pc, reset my router, force manual DNS, try proxies... Ahhh... Fix it Telkom!!!

Relax to a panic... watch some football/rugby/cricket, catch a tan, have a swim, clean your house/flat, spend quality time with the family, etc.... the world ain't ending. YET! :p
 
semi-fixed. I can access international games and sites, but they are slow.
 
Damn. Big rainstorm, so I shutdown everything. Upon restarting my router - everything just got worse. Barely usable now.

I know you're right... and I'm not that addicted. Just need internet to work from home or I need to go to the damn office - my motives are purely selfish! So the world is not ending - Christmas and Good Friday maybe, but not the world (yet) - but company MTN APN/VPN will need to replace the pitiful Telkom service until the 'unknown' cause is resolved. :whistle:

I'm facing the same predicament tomorrow. Luckily I have "backup" SIM cards with data loaded :p

Yeah <warning: moaning ahead!> I have a freaking coy data card I could use - MTN coy APN with Cisco VPN Client - but since I installed Windows 8, the damn thing doesn't work! So downgrade needed! Damn Telkom ADSL.

PS back on topic; just tested and Facebook still does not work - so is the issue really resolved... Maybe reset my router; format c: /u / q - at least I could get Win7 back... lol

Facebook - check
Youtube - check
Tom's hardware - check
Gmail services - check
Porn sites - check
Steam - check
Gaming latency all good - check
 
My Networx log says speed was hundred percent back up at just before 2100hrs :). Thanks Telkom Techies and all the "undercover" ones on here:D :love: , all that abuse is not for nothing :p

I can access all sites that I could not over the weekend.
My speeds are horrendous though.

Upload Speed: 95 kbps (11.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
