I looking for an application that can run on each user's desktop, that can be updates from the managers computer. Ideally showing a bar chart or pie chart of sales.

We are using msg.exe but i need something that runs continuously and that users can access that arent giving administrator rights on the server.

Any ideas, please???

You can also try SugarCRM. I haven't used it in a while but we used to do sales tracking and planning. Its also open source so if you don't like it you haven't lost anything.

What data source(s) are you getting the information from? If you already have it in a relational database, then you could build some reports/dashboards using Excel.

iReport is a Free Open Source tool for creating reports (similar to Crystal reports) and you could also setup a jasperreports server (free open source or a commercial version available) for deploying reports(created in iReport) to several people. Pentaho reports has similar functionality

I've always liked the possibility for a dashboard application written in php which could be deployed using free software as a web app and accessed by your users via the browser. I've never found something off the shelf quite like this written in php.
