Samsung F700

Try doing it via the web/browser? All my apps i installed via browser directly.
Also did you install the vodafone firmware [sorta can't miss that one] ?

Yeah I installed the F700AMGJ8 fiemware(lol, i know it worked becaue my z and y button was swapped :p) but i still can't run/install java programs :(

I upload them to "other files" folder on the phone itself(because i dont have a Micro SD memory card yet),and when I try to install them it just says:" Unsupported file type"

I have tried .jar and .jad files:(
 
Well dunno, as i've said, i installed via the browser [no uploading to the phone and running *.jad files].

What application do you have and where they free?
Where can I find nice apps?

Apps i use:

Gmail Mobile : http://www.gmail.com/app [on your phone]
Nimbuzz : http://www.nimbuzz.com [msn/gtalk/skype/aol/yahoo etc etc messenger]
Opera Mini : http://www.operamini.com [alternative browser, the default one is actually very good, but opera mini is good when some sites just refuse to render properly] .

All above apps are free of course. The firmware already got Google Maps .
Almost all my other stuff i use via browser if possible.

If you're into MXit, can download that [nimbuzz is sufficient for me tho] . Also you get a facebook mobile app too.

Note: All java apps on samsung is installed under "games" . So if you wonder where it is, look there. This has been a silly thing from samsung since always, i remember my previous samsung even had the browser under "games" lol.

Lol, I also use nimbuzz, but I just use normal gmail...

I did not know that Gmaps came with the firmware update :D

If you find any games and or nice apps please post.

hey Devill, did u come right with the vodafone firmware?
Can u download mxit now?
I'm getting this phone this weekend and if i cant download mxit
i'm not buying it.
