Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55

35 does seem like better value of the 2. A55 just has some nice to haves.

if you are going to put a case on it then the build quality and fancy frame are moot.
screens and cameras are the same it seems
and if you aren't gaming, i don't see the chip being a factor, its not even a factor on the 55 anyways

only thing is is the chip going to be ok in 5 years and i dont see any 256GB units
 
Was on the voda online store, a55 is not there. Or did I miss it. Online upgrade seems easier for me.

This deal isnt bad... works out that you end up paying R4800 for the phone over 24 months.
< R399 - R199 (flexon 4) = R200 for the phone X 24 months >


my only gripe again is that its the 128GB model... ah well, time to get some micro SD cards

That comes to R12600 for the phone anyways.

But who wants a R549 debit order? :( and for me its X2 cos the wifey is gonna get one too... GRRRRR

all that said... i think the S23 FE is gonna be the better "buy once, cry once" of the lot... i also like the idea of dex... her chromebook is already EOL so this could be good replacement if i can turn the chromebook into a dock

But why must i do all that... just gimme value for money.

When at home or at work im ok on the wifi... but im also out and about on the road alot. and 600mbs just doesn't cut it. And i seriously dont have time for extra PT or contracts...

Vodacom can seriously suck a D with this splitting data and also what they give for the price.

Welcome to the modern era, there hasn't been value for money in years. Look at cars, look at PC, consoles etc...

Also... i wanna know of that R549 what is going towards the phone and what is going towards the data/mins

Then i know what im actually paying for the phone... as can be seen in the calcs in previous posts.

600MB data from vodacom =

So that means im paying WAAAY More than the actual cost of the phone over the term of the contract
