Samsung Galaxy Note 2

i also have wifi issues since the update. it says my wifi connection is unstable but worked perfectly before the update and also works perfectly from other devices

Ok, those are not a wifi issues per se, they are connection issues by default it looks for the better connection to the net. If your ADSL connection is getting slammed it goes looking for a better mobile connection. Just turn off Auto network switch under wifi settings, (menu button) advanced.
Problem solved

Mine is off by default so still have the same issues. Don't know what's up but it's very annoying. I also noticed greater battery drain on my device (non LTE btw)

Overall I'm very happy with the 4.3 update, but there are two major annoyances for me.

1. Why Samsung decided to leave the 4.1.2 weather widget, only they will know. It makes for a disjointed UI.
2. The HUGE fonts in the messaging app is really becoming too much, as anyone can read your sms over your shoulder, or from a mile away. Obviously they're forcing you to use ChatOn, but I'm going to install Google Hangouts and see if it's not any better.

To update myself - Hangouts is terrible.

Back to stock Messaging app with the HUGE fonts.

Same here.

I also got the "your wifi connection is unstable" message earlier today, but just swiped it off the screen, as the connection was fine.

Hopefully this will prompt Samsung to roll out the Kitkat update sooner!

In my case it actually disables it. Once connected it does some kind of speed test and then claims it's not good enough and disables. Can't recall the exact message.

it has always been off yet still get that message all the time. @kingrob, it's the n7100 3g version

I did a hard reset this morning & everything looks fine.

Well, except for the huge fonts in the Messaging app.

I don't know but they really mucked up the phones wifi. I'm sitting very close to my wifi hotshot and it looks like I'm 200m away.

Yes, they did. :(

I am two metres away from my router and dont even get a full strength signal all of the time.

And my battery now drains in a single day. Before if I didn't use it much I would lose about 35% from morning to evening. Now at night it has to go on the charger otherwise it's dead by morning.

Is there an easy way to go back to 4.1.2?

I was wondering the same thing.

On my S2 I switched between Gingerbread and ICS a few times, you just needed Odin and an official ROM.

Not sure if it is the same for the Note 2.
