Massive increase with 4.4.2 over 4.3

Loving it.

Still smoother. No more reboots. No wifi issues.

I did a factory wipe after update though.

Got another Note 2 this week. Woohoo. Much happier again. This phone is just awesome.

Running latest PacMan nightly - awesome ROM...
 
Anybody on here in the CT cbd area, that is willing to assist in rooting and a custom Rom for a Note 1?

Would that help in removing the Samsung Bloatware and speed up the device a bit?
 
10 percent left now. 5 hr 35m screen on.
Permanent wifi or modem power.
40minutes of calls since last charge.

No games music or videos.

Just got back from overseas. Phone worked fine there. Was using a sim card I bought there. Now when I get back to SA, my gallery is empty. All my pics & videos get saved to my sd card. I can access all the sd card content through My Files but nothing appears in gallery. Has anyone experienced this issue before?
 
Except for the writing to SD issue, understand the reasons but it interrupts my flow, there is a 64Gb card in there for a reason
