The Note 3 is more premium than the S4...
 
Yup agreed, on Vodacom Smart M @R299 per month you only get 120 mins and 300MB data. With Telkom for R315 per month you get 240 minutes plus more data PLUS wifi data! I'm willing to wait :)

It's a good deal! But It won't include the Phone at that price! Would really be nice to get it on the SmartPlan 375 for R459pm and still not pay in any amount

What I'm also waiting for is a Cheap MTN deal and then just bolt on 5Gbs of Afrihost Internet for R145pm

+1. If it wasn't that they did it on all packages, I would have thought that they expect owners of these phones to have adsl with wifi at home/office.

Just give it a few months and you can buy a good second hand one at a much more reasonable price. Then get a StraightUp 30 contract. Month to month and rates remain the same as for da beeg contracts.

bought myself a telkom mobile sim this evening and slapped R80 on it. pling! pling! pling! smss i got saying i got R80 airtime, another R80, 2gb of their wifi and some smss and mmss.

i'll give this a test. maybe i'll enjoy the experience. maybe i'll just stick to cellc.

i dunno. i can get a note3 tomorrow apparently. i wonder if i can wait?

I have the S4 as a business phone and (understandably) it is data intensive...but I really need this Note 3 as my private device, but am not willing to pay these exorbitant contract prices with such ridiculous on-contract data limits. I'm ready to port, so which one of you blood-suckers want my business???

Terrible they didnt offer a promo data bundle with this like they did with the S4
IM just waiting on TM then when my contracts ends on the 21st Oct ill have a look again

That sounds too good to be true what phones do they offer on this package?I'm going to check their website now.

That promo is the sheet,they have it on the note 2 with R150 minutes,5gb on net data,300mb normal data etc for R299-00.

Thats not bad at all for a decent phone.
