Going to speak to the Samsung Regional Manager on the weekend try get a replacement unit ffs. I have the original Body glove screen protector on and original S-Pen. Only ever used original accessories with this phone. Even spent the R800 for the S-view cover from Samsung :/. Phone is less than a month old

There is a button on the pen. It activates Air Command.

yeh it does, but you can switch it off to come up as auto, and this is to recall it a second time. you only found the button now? how long have you had the phone?

Yeah...that button is amazing. If you hold it down and draw on the screen using the pen it will take a screen shot of the area you have drawn. You can then send this screen shot to a contact via bbm/whatsapp/email etc. You can also use it in multi window to copy text from one chat to another in the same window. Its pretty epic. Just really annoyed that writing has to be done extremely hard now in order for it to register.

Talking about S-pen's button .. Anyone thought of how it works ???
I assume there is no rechargeable battery inside the pen (no external charging contacts on the pen), so how does the mobile know when the pen's button is pressed ???

USB 2.0 works just as well. I use one at work to charge my phone.

Correct!
Just charges a bit slower, but no harm will come to your battery or phone.
