4k video i feel is a gimmick. at this point in time nobody can afford a tv that costs so much.
internets speed is also not a huge problem for me.
i mostly care about device performance and battery life.

I actually want at least a Vodacom Talk75 contract, which roll the voice minutes over for a few months.

Don't like the Smart contracts, as your free stuff only rolls over for one month.
 
Yip agree, by the time I will get a 4K TV the Note 5 will be available.
Lte also not something that's important as our networks still suck at this time.

Yes this is something to consider, but then you need to take out a data bundle to counter the extreme vodacom data rate. Maybe the Business top up will be a better option when it comes to the roll over of benefits.
 
Just ordered my upgrade (Note 3) online from VC, hopefully it'll be here by tomorrow. I seriously thought Cell C would have a better contract offer and MTN OOB rates are way to extreme.

Are the S view covers available yet? Some people say its R700 + :cry:

I think you get a SView cover for free from Vodacom.
 
I'm very disappointed in Vodacom and whoever supplies the Note 3 to my local Vodashop. They still have no conformation on when they will be getting the Note 3. :(

You can phone Vodacom and complain, then they rev-up that Vodashop.

I think Ockie will have the number.

Nope. I am desperately looking for a cover. i see the official sView one is like $59. This is just crazy. will pop around to the samsung shop at canal walk and see if they have any covers.
 
I got my note 3 yesterday from cellucity canal walk. They got 20 in and all where sold. They said they placed another order and should have stock by friday

Buy awesome phone with extremely generous warranty. Enclose it in a cover. Why?

I think thats only with Smart S contracts. I currently have a top up 315 contract with a sh** load of airtime on so I had to upgrade to the top up 315 again.

For me the S view cover is mainly to protect the screen, as I really really do not want to put a screen protector on any phone ever again.
