20-23GB seems about right.

I have a couple of extra apps installed and uninstalled all of the Vodacom crapware.

I see Samsung has something called "Samsung Smart Switch" but thats only for the S4. There is also Wondershare MobileTrans but that is a paid for programme so not too keen in that.

Can anyone who has made the switch from iPhone to Samsung Galaxy give advice or someone who knows of software that will be able to assist.

Also Apps I am not too concerned abut as I will manually search through the Play Store to find replacements.

I plugged my wife's iphone4 into my laptop, did the backup and then from that oh-so-lovely "kies" thing, I plugged her note2 in and it gave the option to restore from the iphone's backups. not sure if it did everything correctly, but guessing it did because she was happy to see her old videos again.

try that. should also be the only time in your life that you ever use kies. :)

I used these instructions to move my data from iPhone 4S to Note 3.

It took like 5 minutes but every single thing came over! I even got my alarm clocks onto my Note...

This application is really easy to use and ANYONE will be able to use it...

Did this also migrate Whatsapp by any chance and all the cat history - this is something I also need to transfer over...

Can't comment on whatsapp as I did not have it installed at the time of transfer..

But you can easily backup whatsapp chats and just restore them where you want.

Cat history? What's that hmm?

Edit: you probably meant "chat" history. Just go on your old phone, open whatsapp
Menu, chat settings, click on Backup Conversations.

Copy over the file to the new phone, install whatsapp and choose restore when prompted..

Just got my Note 3 delivered :D However, it didn't come with a sim card :confused: Im sure they said free sim and activation online and now i have to cut my current sim card.
