Samsung Galaxy Note 3

It seems better but the phone was hardly used as you can see (think total screen time was 17 minutes). Still not sure if that is correct? Are there maybe settings I need to change or services I need to turn off?

Heres mine this morning on 2 hours with about 40% of that going to screen. So thats roughly about 40-50min on screen time

You need to select "screen" and it will display the actual amount of screen on time. It can't be estimated by looking at the percentage, if that is what you did.

That's really good. Before you charge again, please post the battery level and screen on time again. It will give a better idea of the average performance.

With my S4, every 20% of the battery delivers about 1h of screen on time, on average. I'm currently at 60% with 1h46m screen on, so it's a bit below par.

Gonna see if i can link my 8ta 10gig promo sim to a micro sim...The data that VC offers is ridiculous.

Will do. Today should be a good test. Will be using some gps, a few camera snaps and then it will be on constantly for fantasy football tonight.

I found that recording 4k videos eats your battery like a mutha...
 
currently on 5hr 45min screen on time and 8% life left.

I suppose that's not so bad. at that amount of screen on time, my s2 would be on its third charge now. :)
 
I accidentally discovered that my nfc was on. forgot to put it off last week when my wife and I tried to send a photo from one phone to the other. ended up doing it on bluetooth. reckon my battery will last longer now.

There are so many settings you can toggle and it makes a big difference.
Stupid example - do you have the Google Play Store "notify me when updates are available" setting enabled?

Untick it and save some battery juice.

Did you manage to do this?
Can 2 sims on different networks be "linked"?
Only way I can think of and what I do is use the 8ta (hate that word!) sim in an older phone which I use as a hotspot for my other devices to connect to, when I am not at home and connected to my router...
