Got mine last week, started using it a few days ago. Very, very nice. Light and not very bulky (if you used to wearing a biggish watch).
Quite convenient. Saves having to take out phone when someone calling. Very nifty to use for calling!
Can have a quick glance at emails, sms.

Will be much better if whatsapp etc. get supported.
Apps very limited. hoping on more functionality.
A bit of a shlep when you need to look at the time. Sometimes it doesn't sense wrist movement, so you need to switch it on.
Battery life seems acceptable...so far

Overall, I'm very happy with it! (got it for free at Vodaworld last Monday)...so no complaints! :whistle:
 
does any one have a usb 3.0 otg connector yet...
i only see the norm usb 2.0 around...

That's my current battery state with screen usage only at 1hr 43 minutes which to me doesn't seem correct or am I mistaken?

Judging by reports from others and my experience with the S4, that looks as good as one can expect. Remember that you also have to account for all that standby time, approximately 5 hours in this case.

Yeah I thought as much. Will see how the battery is tomorrow and take it from there. Just a little concerned as I have seen a lot of different reports from Note 3 users so thought maybe I had useless apps / settings running that was draining my battery but will see how it goes.

No Nothing, not even rotate screen.
However, after reading your response, I went to the accessibility tab and switched the "Interaction control" on and off. Now the minimising screen works :confused:

I know for sure, had I phoned Samsung for help, it would have been a no-brainer.
technical support in almost all fields is simply bad nowadays.
Lucky for us we have access to such forums.;)
 
I also thought it worth a mention. The S View cover for the Note 3 is just Fantabulous!
It looks very nice and neat. Doesn't add bulk. The S View is so convenient ...no need to open it to answer calls.

I think it's worth the extra cost over the normal flip cover. I had the normal flipcover on my Note 2. The S-View is a great plus

I agree it does look nice but I cannot see myself paying R600 - R700 for it. I just hope that the quality is better than that of the flip cover for the S3, because it really disappointed me.
 
Just a quick question - does anyone know if it is possible to copy all my notes from my iPhone 5 to my Note 3? I have looked online but can't seem to find anything. I still have an old iPhone 4 I can restore from my last backup and be able to view the notes but just need a way to send them to my Note 3. Please don't say email them as I have hundreds and hundreds of notes on my old iPhone.

As I have mentioned before! Samsung Smart Switch!

I had about 75 notes on my iPhone 4S. After backing up my iPhone via iTunes, the Smart Switch app automatically picked up the backup and my Note 3

I then clicked everything I wanted to transfer and a couple seconds later all was done!

Can't ask for anything simpler than that...
