Can you guys access the Video Hub from your phone. It tells me it is not supported in my country. On my Note 8 I can access it with no problem.

Vodashop in Vodaworld had screen protectors.
Vodashop in Mall@Reds in Centurion had the s-view covers and flip covers at R749 and R599 respectively.

Most shops should have received stock by now, although I had to visit quite a few shops to find a black cover, as most shops seemed to have either white, blue or purple.

Its impossible to scratch the glass with the S-Pen. Gorilla Glass has a Vickers hardness value of 9. The pen has a hardness value of 1 max. That makes it virtually impossible to scratch the glass with the pen no matter how hard you press.

Sand, on the other hand has a Vickers value of 11, so that WILL scratch ;)

Quality is pretty good, it's not a super hard Cover which I like.

Went into Vodacom again today to play with the demo phone. Can 1 November come already!

Anyone have the Gear that doesn't that it's a massive waste of time at this stage?
 
just a bit curious ... when i check my battery status I noticed that my wifi activity shows that its been on all the time when I know that its been switched off. Anyone else have the same thing? . . .

Check under wifi settings if wifi is set to stay on when in sleep or switch off. I think it is on by default.
 
Switched off the "stay on" thing.... but it still shows as "active" in the battery status.

Hey Grimspoon

I dodnt:-( they only had the originals. I went to vibes who had nice screen protectors at R30 each so I took 5. Then however I took fake View covers from Vibes at R99 each, came home to try them on and surprise surprise, the view functionality doesn't work. Back they go next weekend.

What are the benefits (besides just the size) over the S4

Does it fit into your pocket easily enough, is the size a hindrance or a welcome difference from the S4?

For tha durban ppl, got my cover and screen protector from china city today. Not too grand quality but not bad for now till I find the s view cheaper... and the otg usb works beautiful...
