No noticable drain on my side. Remember that the S3 mini battery is smaller so maybe the drain will be more noticable.

It is possible that the app is merely a proxy for Samsung. In any case, check out Samsung Dive and register that way. Having more than one program won't hurt.

This was discussed a few pages back, but for the N9005, there's also the 'Root de la Vega' method, which is confirmed to not trip the Knox counter. I rooted my N9005 with it, and the system status shows as 'official', meaning I should get the OTA firmwares as per an unrooted phone).
 
Vodashop in Centurion Mall has cases and screen protectors for the Note 3 , only case they do not have is the S-Cover in black(they have it in white)

Out of interest does anyone else's note 3 getting quite hot especially between the Samsung logo up to the camera top area? Was playing some need for speed now for about 25 minutes and then realized how hot it got. Just wondering if this is normal?

Mine gets hot sometimes. But also only after some heavy gaming.

OK cool thought as much. Yeah only happens after I play resource intense games. Thought it was weird cause it didn't get hot by the battery but rather by the camera.

Well only had the s2 before this but that also did it. So it was kind of normal for me.
 
I had heard about the Xposed framework but only recently got into it, and it's awesome!

I now don't need to press OK after entering my lock screen pin, I got rid of the annoying "clear defaults" dialog that always displayed after setting a default app, and, most awesomely, circle battery mod :D.

I have to say... I am loving this device. I find myself picking it up to use it even when I don't have anything specific I am wanting to do.

Was a really good move...
 
I have tried the various new launchers. Mostly aviate and themer. But everytime I try to make the switch I end up switching back to touchwiz after a few hours. I dont know. Think I have just gotten used to how my things work on touchwiz. This does not however stop me from trying a new theme every now and then. But touchwiz ultimately wins every time
