Samsung Galaxy Note 3

So I tried to update my firmware using Odin. Bad idea.
Firstly I tried updating with a newer UK firmware... got an error message saying "invalid ext 4 image"... phone wouldn't boot.
Then I downloaded the latest S. A. firmware...tried to flash it and got this error..."sw rev check fail : (aboot) fused 2 > binary 1"
I even downloaded the exact firmware that was on the phone before I started messing with it... same story.
Tried everything including Kies firmware recovery (fails everytime).... Anyone have any ideas as to how I can bring my Note 3 back to life?
 
The only thing holding me back from the watch is the fact that I have had my eye on this awesome diesel watch and it's almost R2000 cheaper. Granted all it does is tell the time. Haha :D
 
Guess who is getting his Note3 Tomorrow! Yeah

I got to peak at Cell C's November specials - the Note3 + Gear is going for R529 on their Straight Up 100 contract.

I will however only be going for the phone - don't feel like spending an extra R100 pm on the gimmick watch. R2400 over the two year contract seems like a bargain though.

Installed the first Software update [30MB]. Galaxy Note 3 gets first OTA update for improved stability.
 
as far as i know, there's been 3 different x ota 's for Note 3 .
2 x ota of about 28 / 30 megabytes and last one was about 116mb plus ?
( about a day or two ago )and we are still waiting for first ota..!!

Yeah i have already received a 30mb one like two weeks ago but the 100+ one I'm yet to get....

I only got 1 update so far. Going to connect it to KIES just now to see if the other updates are showing.
 
Hey guys
So I might be doing a trade and getting a note 3 soon

Is there anyway for me to check if its stolen or warranty still valid? Its supposedly a sealed unit...
havent bought an expensive phone for along time and just dont want to be ripped off
so any tips will be appreciated
 
This phones **** wifi is really starting to work on. My nerves!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad:

I'm one wifi drop from smashing this thing.
 
I have noticed that the phone gets very hot when using it to play a game, watch video or doing anything that needs a bit of processing power.
Strangely it gets hot around the camera, and not lower down around the battery.
Anyone noticed this, or is this unique to my N900?

Just finished 5 rounds of toy defense 2. No noticeable heat. Slight bit of warmth by the camera. N9005.

Yip also had problems with my 1st note, luckily current one working great.
Take it in for repairs.
