No luck.
Vodacom don't have an option to take the Gear on its own on contract.
So the only option is to pay R4400 to buy it cash.
Ridiculous.
:/

Still no dice. Contract can't be amended once already taken out![]()
They are shooting themselves in the foot. And to me it seems like money lost. I would gladly give them another 200 bucks a month. Now they won't get anything. Why don't you want another revenue stream?
That is also the way I see it.
I'm sure 200 bucks a month will seem a lot more reasonable to a lot of people than 4400 all at once. Specially at Christmas time...
Maybe you guys should check with FNB if they will have the gear standalone?

Try wearing it around your wrist, instead of your bicep.![]()
Sure! But seriously the wrist band isn't that big.
Can't you replace it, like a normal watch?
camera is in the strap iirc
I like the naked feel of the phone so i opted for a pouch type case, the official Note 2 one fits perfect and adds almost zero bulk.

THANK YOU, finally someone with some sense. All the places I've been to just have the retarded flip-n-scratch covers for insane prices and look at you funny when you ask for a pouch. The Samsung shops have the Note 2 pouch but they claim it won't fit.. I miss the good old days when smartphones came with a pouch in the box. Had a pouch for my S3 but soon after buying it they also seemed to disappear off the face of the earth.
I also like it that way but find myself going back to the S-View cover every time I leave the house. It just feels more protected.
