Vodacom also has it for I think R369 if you trade in a Galaxy S2 or some other Galaxy device. They have it also with the BB,Nokia etc but then you must trade in the same brand device with your upgrade. In one of their latest booklets.

Yip, plus you can ONLY watch it on your phone. I'm not watching a 2 hour movie on a phone unless I'm stuck on a plane...

yep it sucks I think its the only way to watch on a bigger screen tho
the rental movies that is, not sure if there is a wireless solution for that

No, forwarding is impossible. It's one of the properties of movies that are rented or bought from the store.
 
Mal cable or adaptor.. you still need a adaptor right? Just asking as I need to source one in durban
 
wow, this thread is huge. I'll chime in my two cents on screen protectors...if you're paying like $40 for one you're being ripped off. No more than $9 you have to pay to get a decent one.

Just a quick question. If I want to remove root safely it's just a matter of downloading a south african firmware from sammobile and just flashing it via odin? Then I can receive ota again and it's like nothing happened?

I purchased from Ebay but the seller no longer has the product listed so I used an Amazon link, I will find alternate Ebay sellers if there's interest.

There were no shipping/customs costs as the parcel did not exceed R500, delivery however took 4 weeks due to the holiday season, I ordered the receiver just before the holidays and it took 19 days.
 
I'm rocking the Note 3 and the Gear watch. Must say I'm impressed. Battery life is vastly improved over S3/S4. I don't know how the old notes did but this is really a good thing for me.

The gear is interesting. It looks "Ok", it's no calculator watch, but it's no rolex either. It's missing some important features, i.e having support for the running apps standalone. Who the hell wants to carry the note 3 when out on a jog. I was hoping the watch could do this and it can't. Stuck using an old iPhone 4s for my running apps.

The Pedometer works quite well without being connected to the Note 3. You can upload the data from the Gear to the Note anytime you want to.

What other running apps are you using?

Nike Plus and Run Keeper. How do you time yourself get your average pace etc with a pedometer?
