Does anyone else get these Security Policy Updates almost every day on their Note 3? I've been getting them since last week almost on a daily basis.

I will take a screenshot when it happens again.

I get this weird message that says some app tried to access something or other and then it says show the app, but it just shows all the apps in the app manager.

Yeah I got it a few times, I just froze the app with Titanium Backup. I'm rooted.

I don't get updates :/
Odin + Sammobile = Bliss.

My battery life has started to plummet. Its still excellent, but I want more. I need more.

So I decided to flash the new kitkat. I am very scared. I still believe that is why my s2 got so horrid. But it could also possibly have been my imagination.

I assume the process would stay pretty much the same on linux?

I get the same message everytime I reboot. No idea how to narrow it down to find the app.
My battery life is also much worse. Thinking of starting fresh and monitoring after each app is installed. Lots of effort though.

Is anyone else on the Polish Version running into battery issues? Not particularly keen to flash this if its going to give battery issues. I currently get around 23 hours on my Note 3

I'm on the polish version, and have seen no difference from the vodacom 4.3 version. Upgrading to polish version 2 tonight.

Just to clarify. I'm not on the Polish version. Seriously considering it though. I used to easily get more than a day per charge.
With the same usage now, I get just over 12 hours. I'm not sure what the culprit is and not enough time to find it. That's why I'm thinking of just starting fresh.

Press and hold security error msg, to find app. You don't need to worry about it. It comes from Knox app.

2 Things that irritate me slightly and i hope that there are fixes for it:

1. I use blocking mode, so that in the evening the phone turns to silent automatically but only allows certain calls through, what i have noticed is that whatsapp sounds go through the blocking mode is there a way to not let whatsapp notifications through?

2. When i am in a call, if an email arrives the phone vibrates in my hand, and for that moment i can't hear what is happening in the call (cause the phone is vibrating in my hand) is there any way to turn off the vibrate?

@peder

2. Try to turn off call alerts under call settings, might work

Blocking mode
Whatsapp is a third party app and not supported by android or samsung, so blocking mode with only work with standard phone apps eg: chaton

Turn off vibrate for gmail.
Open gmail
Menu button (bot left)
Settings
Select middle option your email address
Select Inbox sound & vibrate

Turn off vibrate for email
Open email app
Menu button
Settings
Account settings (at top)
Select email account
Right at the bottom deselect vibrate
