Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I have a S4 for sale if anyone wants it :) Just checking out that someone got rid of their Note for a iPhone :(

I haven't registered my device for the ADH warranty yet. I bought the device slightly used, but I have no proof of purchase. Will the matter?

If I decide to Root my device and I have a screen problem etc, will they void my warranty?

Has anyone rooted their device for advance s-pen screen app features etc?
 
So my Note 3 does not find my music that is stored on my SD card...
I moved the music to the phone's storage and it found the music. Anyone else come across this issue?

Are you on KitKat? Which music app are you using?

I have issues with KitKat and my SD card, they changed the way apps can access stuff on the external storage. Most apps can read from there, but can't write to it. I picked this up when I couldn't get Deezer working, as it was trying to store it's data on the SD card.

That said, I have no issues with Poweramp picking up my music on the SD card though.

I am using the stock music app. I also could not write to the SD card at first then I formatted it through the phone. I can now write to the card but the music player cannot find my music files on my SD.
 
I have a small irritation that wasn't on my S2.

On the phone logs, I get all calls, and incoming messages. I don't want to see massages, i have a message app for that. On the S2, when you set view to 'All calls' it would permanently latch. This isn't. :mad:

Is this a change on KitKat?

Should i have done a full reset after loading UK ROM?

No its been like this on Android 4.3 ,
I am on Kitkat 4.4.2 and use this app , it works fine .

I have been using it for quite a while(on android 4.3 and 4.4.2 ) ,no problems ,does what you want !

Ok, so seems like the 4.4.2 update is suddenly chowing massive amounts of battery :/. Anyone else noticing this? Or just me?

I was considering maybe flashing the Polish version as its the 4th version update or even the unbranded German version.. I also seem to have lost a lot of my pen sensitivity with the OTA update, its a lot less responsive and i have to press down really hard to use it sigh. I did the OTA for vodacom but did not wipe or reset the phone. Should i have done this? Wasnt keen on losing all my data

Flash the BTU version from the UK. Did u do a battery pull for a few mins after flashing?

I have done several battery pulls but my pen is main issue i am having. I have to press extremely hard for it to respond. Is anyone else having this issue? Or is it just me?

Have to press down hard with the Nib. As in the nib as to be fully pressed in order for it to register. I have replaced the Nib from the spares in the packet, but it is still doing this. Wondering if i should take it in to samsung. There were no issues until I did the update.

Yeh, I would do that if I were you? You don't maybe have a dodgy screen protector or something? Or a fake s pen?
