Is there anything that needs to be enabled on the phone to get LTE/4G ? Tried with my lte enabled sim(works 100s in lte usb modem on lte) but not getting lte on my phone with mtn.

Not sure about MTN but Vodacom uses a different apn for LTE then you also have to set your phone to use LTE

Settings is correct according to your screenshot. And I am hosing afrihost apn on mtn network. Which is the same for both as far as I know.

Just strange that sim works 100s on lte in usb modem but not in phone. Only get h+.

Just popped the lte sim again and it is working now. Still waiting on my cell sim to become active. Went past the an mtn shop and according to their system it hasnt been requested yet

Hey guys! I've got a wireless s - charger for sale if anyone in Cape Town is interested? Used once and put back in the box. It's white. Looking for R800

The Samsung shop in Vodaworld has a sale on at the moment. Not sure if it's only that shop or all of them, but all accessories are 50% off. So they're down from RIDONCULOUSLY expensive to merely quite expensive. Anyone who wants one of those retarded flip covers, now is your chance.

If you are on MTN, well, they haven't released any version of Kitkat yet AFAIK.

Guy in an mtn shop told me that samsung with draw the update... he spoke to samsung earlier the week. Apparently some issues with it. Thinking he is confused and doesnt know what he is talking about.

Err... it's a 100mb ota update for 4.3 first, then a 400mb ota KitKat update
